Everybody Lies
answer this bitches

Is a broad conception of what we know enough to formulate a general perception of what we are? Does a general perception of what we are accrue towards any conception of what we know anyway?

But I know I’m not crazy.
I just lost my will.
So why am I, why am I

list

okay, so a week ago today i was sat on a tiny black “YOUR M&S” stool in the middle of a field next to a fire with a piece of cardboard i ripped off the side of my crate of carlsberg and a pen.  i scrawled down a list of bands i planned on seeing at the festival of leeds. My list, with revised changes and verdicts follows…

  • Fightstar- CHECK, they were excellent, always are tho i was a little disappointed with the vocals, cept deathcar, that was brilliant
  • Eagles of death metal- i was too busy trying to build a fire for my chums
  • Municipal Waste-  CHECK, fucking awesome
  • Enter Shikari- I saw some of, not bad not bad…
  • YM@6- decided they wern’t worth the walk
  • 65 days of static- CHECK, absolutely brilliant, one of the best surprises of leeds fest overall, never expected such a good performance, i would recommend to ALL. if you ever get chance to see these, do it, they’re worth it. The name says it all, it takes precisely 65 days of exposure to white noise to send a listener insane, hence 65 days of static. i was astounded, mad times the 60’s!
  • The prodigy- CHECK, awesome performance, good atmosphere, “becki, wheres he from?” LOL.
  • Rise against- i reluctantly missed. =/
  • 30H!3- CHECK, verrrrry busy, but wickkkked!
  • The XX- CHECK, pretty good actually, i was impressed!
  • Frank Turner- CHECK, sweeeeeeet
  • Bloc Party- chose MSTRKRFT instead and they wor a beaaaaaaast!
  • MSTRKRFT, see above
  • AFI- CHECK, only saw half tho, but were mint
  • Radiohead- CHECK, i’ve never been a massive massssssive fan of the music but i saw bout 50 mins simply because of the amount of people that told me they were lifechanging live, and i found myself really enjoying it, the atmosphere made it worth it, glad i went.
  • Lost Prophets- CHECK, FANTASTIC, one of the highlights definitely
  • New found glory- CHECK, bloody brilliant
  • Jacks Mannequin- CHECK, i was so so so excited for this man, and he didnt let me down.
  • Deftones- fraid i went for yorkshire puddings and pork instead.
  • Fall out boy- not bad not bad, not a big fan though tbh.
  • PLACEBO- OUT OF THIS WORLD, the best band i have ever, ever ever eer er er r seen!
  • Kings of Leon- Impossible to get into, a shame, i would have liked to see them.
  • Marmaduke duke- CHECK, very good actually.
